GETTING STARTED IS SIMPLE

Add your experience, goals and preferences.
Plan your arrivals, nutrition and crew instructions, checkpoint by checkpoint.
BEFORE THE START
Elyps combines your race route with your runner profile. Distance, elevation gain, gradient and technicality give a more accurate picture of the effort on each section than a single average pace for the entire race. Planned stops are then included in your checkpoint arrival times.
For example, a technical climb and a runnable section of the same distance will take different amounts of time. Adjust your settings and stops to build a scenario that suits your goal. Estimates remain a guide: your condition on the day and the weather can affect your progress.
You can prepare your route from its GPX file, then organise the important checkpoints: aid stations, crew stops, life bases and the finish. You do not have to choose from a list of well-known races.
A local trail race, a mountain ultra or a long training run: the process is the same. Check the latest route and the organiser’s official information, especially cut-off times and crew rules.
No. You can start for free: import your route, add checkpoints and build an initial plan by entering your arrival times manually. This gives you the first reference points for organising your race.
To go further, Premium brings together Elyps estimates, nutrition, crew preparation and the race logbook. Build a more complete strategy with a clearer view of your arrivals, intake and what your crew should prepare. The Pricing page lists the features included in each plan.
Prepare instructions for each checkpoint: what you want to collect, eat there or find in your bag. The race logbook brings together arrivals, stops and supplies, and you can export it to pass the information to your crew.
For example: at Champex-Lac, prepare a dry jacket, two gels and soup. Your crew knows what to bring and has an estimated arrival time. A dedicated crew-sharing link is not available yet; use your plan’s export.
Yes. Build your strategy around the products you use: gels, drinks, bars and other foods. Their nutritional values and planned quantities let you compare your plan with each section’s targets.
Spread your intake over time and prepare what you will carry between aid stations. Choose products you have already tried in training and adjust the strategy to your tolerance.
Yes. Preparation is an ongoing process: adjust your stops, products, equipment and crew instructions as your plans become clearer. The first estimate gives you a starting point.
If you change race settings or your runner profile, run the estimate again to update your arrivals. Before the start, review the race logbook and send the latest version to your crew.
